The Witcher Series Sells 4 Million Copies

CD Projekt RED sent over a press release announcing that both The Witcher and The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings has sold over 4 million copies of both games. The first installment of the series is available for PC and Mac, and The Witcher 2 can be purchased by PC and Xbox 360 users and will hit Mac computers in the future.

Now this game was ported over from PC a while back and I have to say CD PROJEKT has done it pretty damn well. Ok the consoles namely the Xbox 360 won’t have as good of graphics as the PC or run quite as smoothly as the PC on certain games but I think that this transfer onto a console has been perhaps one of the best I’ve seen so far.

CD Projekt RED has issued a new patch for The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings Enhanced Edition - this is a UI modification that adds the various enhancements to the game (thanks: The Patches Scrolls). It can be used optionally (enabled by default) by players when installed - you can disable it in Configurator DLC Menu.
